Must be new to the BMW game. Need you to double park in some handicap spots.
Yes, I know it’s a tired, cliche joke.

Hahaha - I actually try to go out of my way to be courteous to counteract the stereotype in some small way...

Smart choice and smart parking!

Between the columns. It’s the best way to keep the doors away. It’s also a best way to learn how to park between the lines.

When I worked for Hughes Aircraft years ago there was a particular 8-story garage most everyone for two or three buildings would use. It was a bit unusual because there were offices/labs on the 9th and 10th floors. Most everyone would pull in, grab the first available spot and then go about their day.
Those of us with nicer cars would continue all the way to the 8th floor. BMWs, Porsches, MBs and the occasional Jag - stuff like that. The nice thing about parking all the way up there was the mutual respect that we had for each other’s cars; we would all leave at least one empty space on either side, thus ensuring door dings would never be an issue. It was easy to tell when an interloper was in our midst as they wouldn’t follow the spacing protocol.
I never knew which of my co-workers owned these vehicles, but I knew that, at least for a few hours, my car was safe from the hoards of careless oafs and was surrounded by like-minded individuals.

Nice. One day this week, this was our line-up in that corner: my E90 M3, 335i, Z4 M Coupe, early NSX, and tuned and mud-flapped STi.

This parking area was the first place that I ever saw a Porsche 356B notchback, something I had no idea even existed:
This has since become my favorite 356 variety, just like I prefer the Targa version of the 911 over the regular coupe. Yeah, I prefer the more unusual versions of popular models; always voting for underdog, I guess...

Had no clue either! My dad had a 356 B Super 90 when he was young and single. Bought it used in Germany and brought it back to Texas with him. Had to let it go after married my mom and they started a family. I'll never forgive my oldest brother...

Nice defense! I used to park on an end space with a concrete wall on one side. As close to the wall as I could get.

It's good motivation to get to work a little early, too.

Ooh, nice buffering from neighbor cars! The slight angle difference really works in your favor, and you maximized distance from both cars beside you by favoring a bit to the left side of the space. Well done! But those are nice wide spaces anyway.

Yeah, I'm spoiled.

That’s what I do too - tucked up next to a post. We are lucky that our garage has decent sized spaces too, (unlike some where you can’t even open you door when you pull in...)
